We spent a lovely afternoon at this beach. Instow is a very pretty village with several pubs, inns, resturants, and local shops.
On the entrance to the beach at the Bideford end there is John’s Beach Hut which has a variety of hot and cold food and drinks for sale between April and October (weather permitting).
Johns have a deli shop in Instow and Appledore, they have been winning awards since 2013 which has culminated in their most recent win of Retailer of the year 2015 Farm Shop and Deli Award. Johns can also provide picnics that can be collected from either shop, please contact on (Instow) 01271 860310 or (Appledore) 01237 425870 to order or pop in to either shop.
